The expandable sleeve is inserted into a compatible toilet mounting hole. As the screw is tightened, the fixing expands to help create tension inside the mounting point.
When correctly sized and installed, this helps reduce movement at the hinge connection and gives the toilet seat a more stable base.
Loose Seat, Simple Repair — No Need to Replace Everything.
Remove the old compatible fixing hardware, position the new expansion sleeve in the mounting hole, align the toilet seat hinge and tighten the screw from above.
Once both sides are aligned, tighten each fastener gradually and check that the seat opens, closes and remains centred correctly.
