Why regular testing is so important

When chlorine and pH levels become unbalanced, this can lead to diarrhea and ear and skin infections. Optimal chlorine and pH levels keep harmful bacteria under control.

Please note: if the pH value becomes too high, the disinfecting effect of chlorine decreases. Chlorine can also run out quickly when large amounts of nitrogen (from dirt, urine, sunscreen, or sweat) or other organic substances enter the pool. Therefore, it is advisable to check the chlorine levels regularly, as they can change from day to day depending on the use of the pool.
